Woods Hole and the Boat to Martha's Vinyard
First stop on our little getaway is Woods Hole Massachusetts, home of the world famous Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Birthplace of Jacques Yves Cousteau. Well, I am not real sure about that last part. But he has been here.
We arrived well ahead of schedule, despite getting lost on the surrounding back roads. Saw a number of buildings related to the Institute including one with a sign that said “Graphics Receiving”. Made me wonder where the one for receiving Oceaanos was.
What a day to get away. Good friends and good weather. What do you mean the weather doesn’t looks that good? Its damp dank and gray! Hey, this is New England, what do you expect?
